Science Lab Rules

The Science Laboratory Rules sign lists seven safety rules: no entry without a teacher, no eating or drinking, wear safety goggles and lab coat, do not taste, smell or touch chemicals, no running or playing, wash hands before leaving and report all accidents to the teacher. The BM panel reads Peraturan Makmal Sains; a Chinese version (科学实验室规则) is available. It is designed for makmal sains in SMK and SK schools, matriculation and college labs, university teaching labs and training-centre laboratories across Malaysia. Post it at the lab door and again above the main bench or fume hood so the rules are read before any practical begins. A sticker suits the lab door or an existing board. PVC foam board gives a rigid, wipe-clean panel that resists splashes; PP hollow board is the budget option; EG steel suits an exterior door.
