The face stays solid painted steel and the LED sits inside the open back, so the light spills onto the wall around the letter. By day it is an ordinary painted shopfront letter; at night it is a dark letterform in a ring of light. It is the budget route to a look that usually costs stainless money. Two things decide whether it works: the wall behind needs to be light-coloured and reasonably flat for the halo to show, and the letters need to stand a little off that wall, which is built into how we make them. If the sign must be readable from the road at night, choose the front-lit EG Steel Box-Up Letters instead.

Raw galvanised as supplied — the mill white-grey finish, included, and fine where the sides barely show. Otherwise choose 2K spray in any Pantone or RAL across the face, the sides and the back, clear-coated. For an outdoor shopfront treat the paint as compulsory rather than optional: it is what keeps water off the galvanised steel and stops rust starting at the folded edges and the welds. Minimum letter height is 80mm, so the LED modules and their wiring fit inside.

Yes, and it is not optional — the Add to cart button stays locked until you pick one. The modules run on 12V DC, so every lit order has to include an AC–DC driver: 100W or 300W, indoor or rainproof. Wiring the LEDs straight into 240V mains destroys them the moment you switch on, and that is not covered by warranty. Take the rainproof driver for anything outdoors, and mount it somewhere your electrician can still reach in two years.

We are the factory, so we do not install it ourselves — every order ships ready to self-install, with a full-size paper template included at no charge: tape it up, mark the holes through it, and every letter lands level and evenly spaced first time. That is how the same letters go up anywhere in Malaysia or overseas. If you would rather not do it, pick a floor level in the Installation list and we arrange a partner contractor in KL and Selangor: the price shown is their estimate for a standard job — from RM500 for a ground-floor wall or fascia, stepping up floor by floor as the access equipment grows — and we confirm it with you before the visit is booked. It is one visit and one charge for your whole order, whether it is 3 letters or 30, at the highest floor among them; above the 5th floor the contractor quotes after a site survey, since that means a boom lift or a gondola and a permit from the building.
