The HAND, FOOT & MOUTH DISEASE (HFMD) ALERT reads: if your child has fever, mouth ulcers or rashes on the hands and feet, please keep them at home and see a doctor; wash hands often. The BM panel reads Notis Penyakit Tangan, Kaki Dan Mulut (HFMD), and a Chinese version (手足口病通告) is available. It supports the KKM advice issued to childcare centres during HFMD outbreaks and is used at tadika, taska and nursery entrances, kindergartens, SK and SJK primary schools, paediatric clinics, klinik kesihatan and indoor playlands across Malaysia. Post it at the main entrance and drop-off point where parents will read it each morning. A sticker on the glass door is the fastest way to put up a notice; PVC foam board makes a reusable rigid sign for every outbreak season, and PP hollow board is the budget choice.
