This sign reads CLINICAL / INFECTIOUS WASTE, BIOHAZARD, AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY in English and SISA KLINIKAL / BERJANGKIT, BIOBAHAYA, KAKITANGAN DIBENARKAN SAHAJA in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version available. The red danger panel carries the biohazard symbol so waste handlers and cleaners recognise it immediately. Fit it to clinical waste rooms, yellow-bin storage bays, dirty utility rooms and collection points in hospitals, klinik kesihatan, private clinics, dental and veterinary practices, dialysis centres, laboratories, nursing homes and university medical faculties. KKM guidelines and the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations require clinical waste to be segregated, labelled and stored securely pending collection by a licensed contractor.
