This sign reads PRAYER IN PROGRESS – PLEASE KEEP SILENT · DO NOT ENTER, with Ibadat Sedang Berlangsung – Sila Senyap · Dilarang Masuk in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version (祈祷进行中) is available. The wording is neutral so it suits any faith. It is used at surau and mosque prayer hall doors, office and mall surau, school and hospital prayer rooms, Buddhist, Hindu and Chinese temples during ceremonies, churches and chapels, and multi-faith rooms at airports and universities across Malaysia. Hang it on the door or place it on a stand at the entrance during prayer times, and turn or remove it afterwards. A sticker mounted on a rigid backing or a PVC foam board sign can be hung on a hook and flipped as needed; PP hollow board is the budget option.
