Which vinyl for which part of the vehicle
- White high opaque vinyl — RM3.00 per square foot. For flat areas: a door panel, a tailgate, a small logo or phone number. It blocks whatever is underneath, so colours print true on a dark car.
- Polymeric bubble-free vinyl (grey back) — RM7.00 per square foot. The film for large panels and gently curved bodywork. It is a thin 85 micron vinyl that conforms to body curves, has air-release channels so trapped air can escape as a big panel is squeegeed down, and its grey back stops the paint colour showing through. Van sides and lorry box panels belong here.
If you are unsure, choose polymeric for the body and white vinyl only for small flat decals. The price difference on a pair of door decals is about RM23.

A sticker is the right answer for a company vehicle that always carries your name. A magnet suits a personal car that doubles as a work car — a property agent, a tuition teacher, a home-baking business — because it comes off for the weekend and nothing touches the paint. Magnets only hold on flat steel and need looking after; sizes, prices and care are in magnetic sticker printing.
Sizes: doors, rear windows, vans and lorries
Measure the flat part of the panel you want covered, between the door handle, the trim lines and the wheel arch, and stay off the gaps between panels: a sticker across a door shut line has to be cut there anyway.
Typical sizes:
- Car front doors: a decal is often 600 × 200 mm to 900 × 300 mm per door, ordered as a pair. A door magnet is usually smaller, because it has to sit on the flattest part of the door.
- Van sides: 6 × 2 ft (1829 × 610 mm) panels.
- Rear lettering on a van or pickup: around 1500 × 500 mm.
- Lorry box sides: a 4000 × 1500 mm side prints in one piece.
All the vehicle films print off a 1520 mm roll, so one side of each piece must be 1520 mm or less. Anything taller and longer than that, such as a full lorry wrap, is printed in panels and quoted, because where the joins fall depends on the body.
Stickers on car windows
The window rule in Malaysia is the JPJ tint limit: the front windscreen must let at least 70% of light through and the front side windows at least 50%, while the rear windscreen and rear side windows have no limit (Motorist Malaysia, JPJ tint rules 2026; 3M Malaysia).
That makes the rear windscreen the place for a big window graphic. One-way vision film shows your advert outside while the driver can still see out; it is RM8.00 per square foot and covered in window sticker printing. A small clear or white sticker in the corner of a rear side window is cheaper still. For a parking permit or season pass on the inside of the windscreen, a static-cling permit sticker peels off without residue.
Cut to size or die cut
Every vehicle sticker comes cut to the rectangle you entered at no extra cost, which suits a panel with a background colour. Die cut cuts each piece through the vinyl and its backing to your outline, so a logo or emblem goes on the car in its own shape with the paint showing around it. It adds a one-off charge per order plus a cutting charge on every piece that grows with the outline:

Artwork for vehicle graphics
- Design for a moving car read from the next lane. Company name, what you do, and one contact — a phone number or a short web address. A full paragraph of services is unreadable at a junction.
- Use strong contrast with the paint. White lettering on a white car disappears; so does black on a dark grey one. A die-cut logo should contrast with the car colour, not the design file's background.
