A printed product label in Malaysia starts at RM0.08 a piece — 100 white vinyl labels at 60 × 90 mm are RM16.15, and 500 are RM76.50. They are printed on waterproof vinyl with UV ink and cut to the rectangle you enter, so they survive a fridge, a bathroom shelf and a wet kitchen where a paper label curls. A shaped label costs more, because the cutting is charged per piece, and that is the one decision that changes a label quote the most.

Prices for 100 pieces of one design, cut to the size you enter, after the automatic 5% quantity discount:

That is RM0.08 to RM0.29 a label. The rates behind the table are RM3.00 per square foot for white vinyl and RM3.50 for clear and frosted; a glow-in-the-dark label is RM17.00 per square foot, so 100 at 60 × 90 mm are RM94.05. There is no setup fee, no artwork fee and no minimum order quantity.
Which material for which container
- White opaque vinyl — the default. It hides whatever is behind it, so colours print true on a brown pouch, a coloured jar lid or a kraft box.
- Ultra clear vinyl — the no-label look on glass bottles, PET jars and anything you want to see the product through. Remember that unprinted areas show the container, so plan the design around that.
- Frosted vinyl — a soft etched-glass finish for cosmetics, candles and gifting.
- Glow in the dark — novelty and safety marking, at RM17.00 per square foot.
- UV DTF transfer sheets — A5 RM10.00, A4 RM20.00, A3 RM30.00. These are not stickers on a backing sheet but a transfer that bonds to hard surfaces: glass jars, tumblers, metal tins, curved bottles and textured lids. Gang as many small designs onto one sheet as fit, so a sheet of 20 small logos still costs RM20.00 on A4.
Every vinyl here is the same waterproof material used for sticker printing, so a label will not soften in the fridge or tear in a wet hand.
Rectangles are cheap, shapes cost more
This is where label quotes diverge:

Cutting is charged by the length of the cut on every piece, which is why a shaped label costs roughly ten times a rectangle at this size. Three practical consequences:
- If the artwork can live inside a rectangle, keep it a rectangle. A rounded-looking design printed on a rectangular label reads the same on a jar.
- If you need a shape, order in quantity. The same 60 × 90 mm die-cut label is RM11.67 for one, RM1.68 each at 100 and RM1.52 each at 500.
- For very small logos on hard surfaces, use a UV DTF sheet instead. One A4 sheet at RM20.00 carries as many little designs as you can fit.
How quantity changes the price
Quantity discounts apply automatically to one design, and they are the same for every label material:

At 2,000 pieces a rectangular vinyl label is RM0.14 each. Nothing is held back for a bulk quote: the same numbers appear on the label sticker configurator as you change the quantity.
Sizes, and the 50 mm minimum
Labels are cut to any size you enter from 50 × 50 mm upwards, so the common bottle and jar sizes are covered: 50 × 50 mm for a small jam jar or candle lid, 60 × 90 mm for a 250 ml bottle, 80 × 120 mm for a 500 ml bottle or a pouch front. Below 50 mm on either side the configurator will not accept the size, and a UV DTF sheet is the better route for tiny marks.
Measure the curve, not the flat: on a round bottle, a label wider than about a third of the circumference starts to wrinkle at the ends.
What we do not do: roll labels
Tandaku prints labels as individual pieces or on a backing sheet, not wound onto rolls for a label applicator or a desktop dispenser. If your line needs roll-fed labels with a core size and a gap spec, that is a different machine and a different supplier. For hand-applied labels on bottles, jars, pouches, boxes and tins, pieces are what you want anyway.
Artwork for labels
- Design at the finished size with 3 mm bleed, and keep text and logos about 3 mm inside the trim.
- Small type needs real resolution. Labels are read at arm's length, so work at 300 dpi at final size rather than the 100 dpi that suits a banner. The full file checklist is in how to prepare artwork.

- On clear vinyl, treat the container as the background. Whatever the bottle colour is will show through every unprinted part of the label.

Do you print labels on rolls?
No. Labels are supplied as separate pieces or on a backing sheet for hand application, not wound on rolls for an applicator machine.
Can I print labels for glass bottles and jars?
Yes, two ways. Ultra clear or frosted vinyl labels give the no-label or etched look and stick to clean glass. For curved, textured or heat-washed surfaces, a UV DTF transfer bonds harder and follows the curve better.
How many labels do I need to order to get a discount?
Discounts start automatically at 100 pieces of one design at 5%, rise to 10% at 500 and 15% at 2,000. A 60 × 90 mm white vinyl label works out at RM0.16 each at 100 and RM0.14 each at 2,000.
