What size is a poster? A2 (42 x 59.4 cm) is the standard retail and notice poster in Malaysia. A1 (59.4 x 84.1 cm) is the usual size for larger displays and A-frames, and A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm) for full-height standees. All of them are cut to order here, so custom sizes cost the same per square foot.

A4 through A2 all land on the minimum charge, so at those sizes you are paying the same either way — order A2 rather than A4 if the space allows, since it costs no more.
Which material for which poster
- Smooth synthetic paper (260gsm) at RM2.10 per square foot — tear-proof and waterproof, unlike ordinary paper. The default for retail posters, menus, notices and event signage.
- Printable canvas (280 micron) at RM2.80 per square foot — textured woven finish, crease-resistant, for art prints and decor where the surface should not look like paper.
- Magnetic sheet (500 micron) at RM7.00 per square foot — sticks to metal and vehicle panels, repositionable and reusable. For shop shutters, whiteboards, lift doors and van sides.
Maximum poster sizes
Smooth paper prints up to 1067 x 3000 mm, canvas up to 1500 x 5000 mm, and magnetic sheet up to 1270 x 3000 mm. Every one of those comfortably exceeds A0, so size is rarely the constraint — the more common limit is the frame or stand you are fitting into.
Choosing the right size
- Measure the frame or holder first, then order to its opening, not to the nearest A-size.
- Match the reading distance. A poster read from 10 ft is fine at A3; a poster read from across a shop needs A1 or A0.
- Consider the surface. If it is going on metal, magnetic sheet removes the need for tape or frames entirely.
- Check whether it will get wet. Our smooth synthetic paper is waterproof, so it survives outdoor and washdown areas where ordinary poster paper disintegrates.
