Poster printing in Malaysia costs RM2.10 per square foot on waterproof synthetic paper — an A4 poster is RM1.41, an A1 is RM11.29 and an A0 is RM22.60, with no minimum order. A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) is the standard retail and notice poster; A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) is the usual size for larger displays and A-frames; A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm) for full-height standees. Every size is cut to order, so a custom size costs the same per square foot as a standard one.

Pricing is purely by area, so each step up the A series doubles the price and each step down halves it. There is no setup fee, no artwork fee and no minimum order — a single A4 is RM1.41. Quantity discounts start automatically at 5% from 100 pieces of one design.
Which material for which poster
- Smooth synthetic paper (260gsm) at RM2.10 per square foot (RM22.60 per m²) — tear-proof and waterproof, unlike ordinary paper. The default for retail posters, menus, notices and event signage.
- Printable canvas (280 micron) at RM8.00 per square foot (RM86.10 per m²) — textured woven finish, crease-resistant, for art prints and decor where the surface should not look like paper.
- Magnetic sheet (500 micron) at RM7.00 per square foot (RM75.30 per m²) — sticks to metal and vehicle panels, repositionable and reusable. For shop shutters, whiteboards, lift doors and van sides.
Mounted posters on foam board, PVC or PP hollow board
A paper poster needs a frame, a wall or tape. A mounted poster is printed straight onto a rigid board, so it stands in an easel or A-frame, hangs on a nail with a sawtooth hanger, or leans on a counter. Boards are printed and cut to size on the printed boards page:

KT board is foam-core with paper faces, so keep it dry. For anything under a porch, at a car park entrance or near a door that gets rain, choose PP hollow board.
Maximum poster sizes
Smooth paper and canvas print up to 1.52 m wide at any length as a single piece; magnetic sheet up to 1.2 m wide by 3 m long. Every one of those comfortably exceeds A0, so size is rarely the constraint — the more common limit is the frame or stand you are fitting into. Mounting boards go up to 1.22 × 2.44 m, the standard 4 × 8 ft sheet.
Posters for outdoor use
Synthetic paper does not absorb water, so a poster on it survives rain and a humid shopfront window where an ordinary paper poster curls and tears within days. What it will not do is stay up for months in direct sun and wind on its own.
- A few weeks outside, sheltered: synthetic paper poster, taped or clipped flat.
- Longer, or rained on: print on PP hollow board, or use a flex banner with eyelets, which is built to be tied up outdoors.
- On a metal gate, shutter or van: magnetic sheet — it comes off cleanly and goes back up.
Choosing the right size
- Measure the frame or holder first, then order to its opening, not to the nearest A-size.
- Match the reading distance. A poster read from 10 ft is fine at A3; a poster read from across a shop needs A1 or A0.
- Consider the surface. If it is going on metal, magnetic sheet removes the need for tape or frames entirely.
- Check whether it will get wet. Smooth synthetic paper is waterproof, so it survives outdoor and washdown areas where ordinary poster paper disintegrates.
How fast you can get a poster printed
Posters are printed in-house in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, on two tiers counted in working days from the day the order is confirmed (paid and artwork approved):

An order confirmed before 2pm counts that day as day 0; from 2pm, counting starts the next working day. Express uses the same cut-off. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays do not count. On a single A1 poster the express fee is the RM20 minimum.
Once ready, a rolled poster ships by courier anywhere in Malaysia, goes by Lalamove within the Klang Valley once we confirm it is ready, or can be collected free from the shop, Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 1 pm. Large rigid boards are collected or sent by Lalamove rather than couriered; the checkout switches automatically.

Yes. Posters are printed on 260gsm smooth synthetic paper rather than ordinary poster paper, so they are tear-proof and waterproof and hold up outdoors and in washdown areas. Ordinary paper posters disintegrate in Malaysian humidity.
Can I get a poster printed urgently?
Yes. Choose Express at checkout and the poster is ready the next working day; an order confirmed (paid and artwork approved) before 2pm counts that day as day 0. The express fee is 30% of the order with a RM20 minimum and a RM150 maximum. Within the Klang Valley you can then send a Lalamove driver once we confirm it is ready, or you can collect it in Seri Kembangan.
