Banner Printing Price in Malaysia (2026): Per Square Foot, by Size, and Next-Day Express

Key takeaways

  • Banner printing in Malaysia costs RM2.00 per square foot on standard 340gsm flex: a 3 × 6 ft banner is RM35.99 and a 4 × 8 ft banner is RM63.99, with four corner eyelets included.
  • Premium 510gsm flex and mesh are RM3.00 per square foot; pricing is by area, so any custom width and height costs the same rate with no custom-size surcharge.
  • Four corner eyelets, pole pockets and a fold-back edge are all included; eyelets every 2–3 ft add RM5.94 on a 4 × 8 ft banner and are the right choice for long spans and windy spots.
  • Standard turnaround is 5 working days from artwork approval; express is next working day at 30% of the order (minimum RM20, cap RM150), and the clock starts at approval, not payment.

The rates behind the table: 340gsm flex is RM21.53 per m² (about RM2.00 per sq ft); 510gsm flex and mesh are RM32.30 per m² (about RM3.00 per sq ft). Because pricing is by area, a 5 × 7 ft or a 12 × 2 ft is priced the same way — there is no "standard size" surcharge and no custom-size surcharge.

Quantity discounts apply automatically at 100 or more pieces of one design: 100 × 3 × 6 ft flex banners are RM34.19 each instead of RM35.99.

Which banner material for the price

Three banner material swatches: thin flex, thick flex and perforated mesh

  • Flex 340gsm (RM2.00/sq ft) — the everyday Malaysian outdoor banner. PVC-coated, weatherproof, printed with UV-cured ink. Right for shopfront promotions, event banners and anything up for weeks to a few months.
  • Premium flex 510gsm (RM3.00/sq ft) — half as thick again. Hangs flatter, stretches less at the eyelets, and holds colour longer. Choose it for a banner that stays up for months, or one that is photographed close up.
  • Mesh (RM3.00/sq ft) — perforated so wind passes through. The only sensible choice on a fence, a scaffold, a rooftop frame or anything above the first floor. Full guide: mesh banner printing in Malaysia.
  • Fabric — polyester, dye-sublimated, for indoor hanging banners and flags. Priced separately from RM18.73 per m². See fabric banner printing.

If you are choosing between the first two, the honest test is how long the banner will be up. For a one-week promotion, 340gsm is the right spend. For a fascia banner that is effectively your signboard, see banner signboards, where a 10 × 3 ft 340gsm face cut to your frame is RM74.94.

What each finishing costs

Banner edge details: corner eyelets, eyelets along the edge, a pole pocket and a folded hem

Finishing is how the banner is fixed up, and it is decided at the printer. On a 4 × 8 ft 340gsm flex banner (RM63.99 base):

Finishing 4 × 8 ft total What it is for
4 corner eyelets RM63.99 (included) Tying to a frame, railing or hooks
4 corner eyelets + string RM64.99 The same, with nylon string already threaded
Eyelets every 2–3 ft RM69.93 Long spans and windy spots — spreads the pull along the edge
3″ pole pocket, top only RM63.99 (included) Sliding onto a pole or crossbar
3″ pole pockets, top and bottom RM63.99 (included) A pole at the top and a weight bar at the bottom
All-round 1″ fold-back RM63.99 (included) Clean welded edge, no eyelets — for frames with clips or tape
Die cut to shape RM68.99 A custom outline supplied in the artwork

Two rules of thumb. Anything longer than about 10 ft, or anywhere wind reaches, should have eyelets every 2–3 ft rather than four corners — a large banner pulled at four points tears at those four points. And a pole pocket is the right call whenever the banner hangs from a bar rather than being tied to a frame: it spreads the load along the whole edge and the banner hangs flat.

How long banner printing takes

A wall calendar with a run of working days marked, a rolled banner and a clock

Two tiers, both counted in working days from the moment your artwork is approved, not from payment:

Tier Ready to dispatch Cost
Standard 5 working days Included
Express Next working day 30% of the order, minimum RM20, capped at RM150 — charged once per order

On a 3 × 6 ft or a 4 × 8 ft banner the express fee is the RM20 minimum; on a 4 × 12 ft it is RM28.80, and on a 20 × 4 ft RM48.00. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays do not count as working days, so artwork approved before noon on a Friday and rushed is dispatched on Monday.

The clock starts at artwork approval for a reason: most files that arrive need a preflight fix (a missing bleed, a low-resolution logo, RGB colours), and a next-day promise counted from checkout would be missed on most orders. Send a print-ready file — see how to prepare artwork for large-format printing — so approval is not held up by a fix, and approve before 12 noon so the clock starts that day.

Delivery: courier, Lalamove or pick up

A courier parcel tube, a motorcycle rider and a shop counter for pickup

  • Courier, nationwide. Banners roll, so any size ships by parcel courier. Allow 1–3 working days after dispatch, a few more for Sabah and Sarawak. The rate is quoted live at checkout.
  • Lalamove, Klang Valley. Same-day on-demand delivery once the order is ready, quoted and paid to the driver.
  • Self-pickup, free, from the shop in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Monday to Saturday 9 am to 6 pm.

A packing and protection charge of RM3 per order plus RM6 per m² of the largest item is shown separately at checkout for courier and Lalamove orders. It does not apply to pickup.

Tandaku prints from Seri Kembangan and ships everywhere in Malaysia, so "near me" is really a question of delivery time. For same-day Lalamove the Klang Valley is covered end to end; dedicated pages exist for Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Kajang, Puchong, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya and Cyberjaya. For Penang, Ipoh and Johor Bahru, courier from dispatch is typically one to two working days.

FAQ

How much does banner printing cost in Malaysia?

RM2.00 per square foot on standard 340gsm flex, which makes a 3 × 6 ft banner RM35.99 and a 4 × 8 ft banner RM63.99 with four corner eyelets included. Premium 510gsm flex and mesh are RM3.00 per square foot. There is no setup or artwork fee.

What is the price of banner printing per square foot?

RM2.00 per square foot for 340gsm flex (RM21.53 per m²), and RM3.00 per square foot for 510gsm flex and mesh (RM32.30 per m²). The price is calculated on the exact area you enter, so any custom size costs the same per square foot.

How much is a 4 x 8 ft banner?

RM63.99 on 340gsm flex, RM95.99 on premium 510gsm, and RM95.99 on mesh. Adding eyelets every 2–3 ft instead of four corners brings the 340gsm banner to RM69.93.

Can I get a banner printed in 24 hours?

Express turnaround is next working day, counted from when your artwork is approved. It costs 30% of the order, with a RM20 minimum and RM150 cap, charged once per order. Send a print-ready file so approval is not held up; artwork approved before 12 noon on a working day is dispatched the next working day.

Is banner printing cheaper online than at a shop?

Online pricing is per square foot at a published rate, so you are not paying for a quotation round-trip or a shop's guess at your job. Tandaku's rate is RM2.00 per square foot on 340gsm flex with the price shown before you commit, and delivery is quoted live at checkout.

What is the biggest banner you can print?

Up to 3 m wide in one seamless piece, at any length up to 50 m. Anything wider than 3 m is printed as panels designed to hang side by side, so plan the artwork with the join in mind.

Are eyelets included in the banner price?

Yes. Four corner eyelets, a top pole pocket, top-and-bottom pole pockets and an all-round fold-back are all included at no charge. Eyelets every 2–3 ft add RM5.94 on a 4 × 8 ft banner, string adds RM1, and die cutting adds RM5.
