Warning Non Ionising Radiation

This yellow warning triangle reads WARNING, NON-IONISING RADIATION in English and AMARAN, SINARAN TAK MENGION in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (当心非电离辐射) available alone or with the other two languages. The radiating-waves pictogram distinguishes it from the ionising radiation trefoil. It is fixed at rooftop antenna compounds, telecom towers and base station cabinets, microwave link dishes, broadcast equipment rooms, RF test labs, MRI and physiotherapy equipment rooms, induction heating lines and laser or UV curing areas in factories across Malaysia. Telecom contractors, building managers with rooftop leases and workplaces under JKKP/DOSH oversight use it to keep maintenance staff and the public at a safe distance from transmitting equipment. Default size is 150×200mm; other sizes up to 600×900mm. Tandaku Colourfit EG steel sheet 0.5mm is recommended for rooftops and tower compounds, PVC foam board 5mm suits an indoor equipment room, and PP hollow board is the budget option.
