About this sign
The sign carries the ISO 7010 W006 magnet pictogram with WARNING – STRONG MAGNETIC FIELD in English and AMARAN! – MEDAN MAGNET KUAT in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version is also available.
It marks MRI rooms, NMR and research magnet labs, magnetic separators, lifting magnets in scrap yards and steel mills, and demagnetising stations. Hospitals and imaging centres in Malaysia post it with the pacemaker and metallic implant prohibition signs at the MRI door, while factories and recyclers use it to keep tools, gas cylinders and phones out of the field.
