Radiation Controlled Area

The sign reads CONTROLLED AREA – RADIATION — AUTHORISED PERSONS ONLY in English and KAWASAN KAWALAN – SINARAN — ORANG YANG DIBENARKAN SAHAJA in Bahasa Malaysia, with the ISO 7010 W003 radiation trefoil. A Chinese version is also available. Post it at the boundary of every controlled area: radiology and CT suites, nuclear medicine labs, radiotherapy treatment rooms, industrial radiography enclosures and sealed source stores. Licensees in Malaysia are required by AELB under the Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 to designate controlled areas and restrict entry to authorised, monitored workers, and this sign is the standard way to mark that boundary. The sticker fits glass and lead-lined doors, PP hollow board is a budget notice, 5mm PVC foam board gives a clean rigid panel for clinical corridors, and EG steel sheet suits outdoor gates and plant doors. Sizes run from A6 to A1, in five language versions: BM+EN, BM+EN+中文, English only, BM only or 中文 only. Every sign is printed to order and delivered nationwide.
