This red panel reads DANGER, CONFINED SPACE, ENTRY BY PERMIT ONLY in English and BAHAYA! RUANG TERKURUNG, MASUK DENGAN PERMIT SAHAJA in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version (危险 受限空间) is available on its own or with BM and English. It is fixed at the entry point of storage tanks, silos, manholes, sewer and drainage chambers, water tanks, lift pits, ducts, boilers, vessels and underground pump sumps in factories, palm oil mills, water treatment plants, ports, oil and gas facilities, condominiums and construction sites across Malaysia. JKKP/DOSH guidance on confined space entry requires authorised entry under a permit-to-work system, and this sign is the visible part of that control. Default size is 300×450mm; other sizes from 150×200mm to 600×900mm.
