The sign reads CAUTION, PEDESTRIAN CROSSING in English and AWAS! LINTASAN PEJALAN KAKI in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (注意行人) available alone or with the other two languages. The walking-figure pictogram in a yellow triangle is recognised by drivers instantly. It is fixed ahead of marked crossings in shopping mall and condominium car parks, factory and warehouse yards where forklifts and lorries move, school and kindergarten drop-off lanes, hospital driveways, university campuses, resorts and gated communities across Malaysia. These are private roads where JKR road signs are not installed, so the owner or management provides its own warning. Factories often pair it with our Caution Reversing Vehicles sign. Default size is 450×600mm for visibility from a vehicle; other sizes from 150×200mm to 600×900mm.
