About this sign
This yellow warning triangle reads CAUTION HOT WATER in English and AWAS! AIR PANAS in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (小心热水) also available. The hot-tap pictogram is recognised instantly.
Stick it on the hot tap of a water dispenser, beside the pantry boiler or water heater, on café and mamak self-service counters, next to hostel and homestay shower heaters, and on factory hot-water lines.
