A diamond car sticker reading STUDENT DRIVER with a car pictogram. The Bahasa Malaysia version reads PELAJAR MEMANDU, and a Chinese version is also available. Driving schools, private instructors and families supervising a learner use it on the rear windscreen or boot lid, in addition to the L or P plates that JPJ requires, so other motorists slow down, keep their distance and give way during stalls, three-point turns and parallel parking.
