About this sign

A yellow warning-triangle sign with a children pictogram and the words SCHOOL CROSSING AHEAD – STOP WHEN SIGNALLED BY THE CROSSING WARDEN, and Lintasan Sekolah Di Hadapan – Berhenti Apabila Diarahkan Oleh Warden Lalu Lintas in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version (前方学校行人穿越道) is available. It is a private-premises supplementary sign for school driveways, internal roads, taman access roads and housing estates near SK, SMK and SJK schools, tadika and kindergartens across Malaysia, reminding drivers to obey the crossing warden or PIBG volunteer. Official road signs on public roads remain the responsibility of JKR and the local council; this sign supplements them on school and private land.
