A red strip reading SOLD, meant to go diagonally or straight across an existing For Sale board once the sale is agreed. The Bahasa Malaysia version reads TELAH DIJUAL, and a Chinese version is also available. Property agents and negotiators across Malaysia paste it over their boards to show neighbours and passers-by that the listing moved, which is good advertising for the agent in the taman and stops unnecessary calls. Owners who sold direct use it to stop enquiries without taking the board down straight away.
