A red plate reading PRIVATE ROAD — RESIDENTS & GUESTS ONLY with a no-entry bar pictogram. The Bahasa Malaysia version reads JALAN PERSENDIRIAN — PENDUDUK & TETAMU SAHAJA, and a Chinese version is also available. Residents' associations, gated-and-guarded communities, JMB and management corporations, private estates and owners of shared access lanes across Malaysia fix it at the boom gate, guardhouse and the entrance to the internal road so through-traffic, delivery riders taking shortcuts and the public know the road is not open to everyone. It supports the guard's authority to ask unknown drivers to turn back. Order it as a PP hollow board for posts and guardhouse walls, a sticker for glass and metal, or a flex banner with eyelets for the boom gate and fences.
