Budget hotels, homestays, hostels, motels and chalet operators across Malaysia hang it at the door or reception window during school holidays, festive seasons and event weekends so late-arriving travellers do not ring the bell or call for a room that does not exist. Most operators buy it together with the green Room Available sign and switch between the two. Order it as a PP hollow board for doors and gates, a sticker for glass doors and windows, or a flex banner with eyelets for railings. Standard size 300 × 100 mm, with larger sizes on request.
