A Chinese version is available. The default print carries BM and English together. Banks and money changers, courts and government buildings, schools and universities, hospitals, nightclubs, stadiums, concert and event venues, airports, data centres, embassies and security screening points across Malaysia fix it at the entrance and beside metal detectors or bag-check tables. Malaysia restricts firearms and offensive weapons by law, and the sign gives security staff a clear premises rule to point to when refusing entry.
