The sign reads NO SMOKING IN LOADING BAY – FLAMMABLE GOODS in English and DILARANG MEROKOK DI KAWASAN PEMUNGGAHAN – BARANGAN MUDAH TERBAKAR in Bahasa Malaysia, with a crossed-out cigarette symbol. A Chinese version is also available. It is posted at loading docks, despatch bays, solvent receiving areas and lorry waiting zones where cartons, aerosols, paints or chemicals are moved. Warehouses, factories, paint shops and logistics depots in Malaysia use it because smoking is already banned in workplaces under the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024, and an open flame near flammable goods is a fire risk that Bomba and insurers expect to see controlled. EG steel sheet is the usual choice for dock walls and pillars outdoors. Use the sticker on shutters and existing boards, PP hollow board as a budget notice, or 5mm PVC foam board indoors.
