About this sign
This sign uses the ISO 7010 P014 pictogram with NO ENTRY FOR PERSONS WITH METALLIC IMPLANTS in English and DILARANG MASUK BAGI PEMAKAI IMPLAN LOGAM in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version is also available.
It is placed at the door of MRI suites, magnet rooms and research labs with strong magnetic fields, where surgical pins, clips, cochlear implants and other metal can be pulled or heated. Hospitals, private imaging centres and university labs in Malaysia pair it with the matching pacemaker and magnetic field warnings to screen staff, patients and visitors before they enter the controlled zone.
The sticker suits glass doors and existing panels. PP hollow board is a budget option, 5mm PVC foam board gives a clean rigid panel for clinical corridors, and EG steel sheet handles outdoor or plant-room doors.
