About this sign
The sign shows a red-ring prohibition roundel with a bicycle pictogram and reads NO CYCLING / SKATEBOARDING in English and DILARANG BERBASIKAL & BERMAIN PAPAN LUNCUR in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version (禁止骑车及滑板) is available, plus English-only, BM-only and three-language layouts.
It is used on condo corridors, lobbies and pool decks, mall forecourts and plazas, covered walkways and linkways, mosque and temple grounds, school corridors and park paths reserved for pedestrians. JMBs and mall managements usually mount it at the entry points where kids roll in from the car park or road.
