It is used on fire-escape and staircase doors that must stay openable, shared toilets in shoplots, server-room and electrical-riser doors, condo roof and pump-room access, school and hostel corridor doors, clinic consultation rooms, factory side gates and homestay rooms across Malaysia, wherever a locked door would trap people or block access.
