This blue mandatory-circle sign reads SEAT BELT MUST BE WORN in English and SILA PAKAI TALI PINGGANG KELEDAR in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (必须系安全带) available alone or with the other two languages. The seat belt pictogram is universally understood. It is fixed inside express and tour buses, school buses and vans, factory and plantation worker transport, company vehicles, forklifts, tractors and site plant across Malaysia. Rear seat belt use is compulsory in Malaysia and bus operators are expected to remind passengers, so this sign is a simple way to do that.
