About this sign
This blue mandatory sign reads Ear Protection Must Be Worn in English with Sila Pakai Pelindung Telinga in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version (必须戴护耳器) is also available, and you can order BM+EN, BM+EN+Chinese or a single language.
Hearing protection is required under JKKP (DOSH) noise exposure rules in areas above the action level. Factories post it at stamping, grinding, bottling and packaging lines, plants at compressor, chiller and boiler rooms, condos and offices at genset rooms, construction sites at piling and breaking zones, and workshops at engine test bays. It is normally mounted beside the High Noise Level Area warning sign at the entrance to the zone.
