It follows the seven-step technique promoted by the Ministry of Health. It belongs above hand-wash basins in restaurant and hotel kitchens, food factories, central kitchens, clinics, dental surgeries, childcare centres, schools, office pantries and factory washrooms across Malaysia. For licensed food premises it supports the personal hygiene requirements of the KKM Food Hygiene Regulations 2009 and is the kind of notice health inspectors expect to see at the staff basin. Default size is 300×450mm; other sizes from 150×200mm to 600×900mm.
