Canteen Rules

The Canteen Rules sign covers the basics of an orderly kantin: queue up to buy food, no pushing or cutting the queue, return your tray, plates and cups, throw rubbish into the bin, keep the tables clean and no running. The BM panel reads Peraturan Kantin, and a Chinese version (食堂规则) is available. It is written for school canteens in SK, SMK and SJK schools, but works equally well in tadika dining areas, hostel dining halls, factory and dormitory canteens and college cafeterias across Malaysia. Mount it at the serving line, near the tray-return point and on pillars facing the seating area. For existing boards or tiled walls a sticker is the quickest fix. PP hollow board is the low-cost rigid option, PVC foam board stays flat and wipes clean, and EG steel suits open-sided canteens exposed to rain.
