Fire Hydrant Keep Clear

This red fire-equipment sign reads FIRE HYDRANT, KEEP CLEAR in English and PILI BOMBA, JANGAN HALANG in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (消防栓 保持畅通) available on its own or with BM and English. It is mounted on the wall or post next to fire hydrants, breeching inlets, hose reel cabinets and dry riser inlets at condominiums, apartments, shopping malls, factories, warehouses, shoplot rows, schools and hospitals across Malaysia, where parked cars, motorcycles, stock and rubbish bins tend to block access. Under the UBBL and Bomba fire certificate requirements, access to fire-fighting installations must be kept unobstructed, and managements use this sign to support towing or fines for cars parked in front of a hydrant.
