About this sign
This fire safety sign reads FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT in English and PERALATAN MEMADAM KEBAKARAN in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version available. It carries the red ISO 7010 F004 pictogram, the general symbol for fire-fighting equipment under MS ISO 7010.
Mount it above hose reel cabinets, extinguisher groups, fire blankets, sand buckets and landing valves in factories, warehouses, shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, schools, condominium corridors and car parks. Keeping fire equipment clearly marked and unobstructed is part of what Bomba inspectors check under the UBBL and Fire Services Act when issuing or renewing a fire certificate.
