This red fire safety sign marks where an extinguisher is kept, reading Fire Extinguisher in English with Alat Pemadam Api in Bahasa Malaysia. A Chinese version (灭火器) is also available, in BM+EN, trilingual or single-language layouts. Bomba and the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL) require extinguishers in most commercial, industrial and strata buildings, and inspectors expect each unit to be visible and clearly signed, especially where it sits in a corner or behind a pillar.
