Emergency Numbers

This green panel is headed EMERGENCY NUMBERS in English and NOMBOR KECEMASAN in Bahasa Malaysia and lists 999 and BOMBA 994, the national emergency and fire brigade lines. A Chinese version (紧急电话) is available alone or together with BM and English. It is fixed at guardhouses, lift lobbies and notice boards of condominiums, in office and factory first aid rooms, school and hostel corridors, hotel and homestay rooms, places of worship, kindergartens and childcare centres across Malaysia. Building managements and employers use it so that anyone, including foreign workers and visitors, can find the right number at once.
