The sign reads PLEASE WEAR A MASK IF YOU HAVE COUGH, FLU OR FEVER in English and SILA PAKAI PELITUP MUKA JIKA ANDA BATUK, SELSEMA ATAU DEMAM in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (如有咳嗽、感冒或发烧请佩戴口罩) available on its own or with the other two languages. It is used at the entrance and waiting area of clinics, hospitals, dental surgeries and pharmacies across Malaysia, and by offices, schools, kindergartens, childcare centres, places of worship, gyms and retail shops that want a polite, permanent reminder rather than a mandatory rule. It is worded as a request, so it suits premises where masks are encouraged for the unwell but not required of everyone. Default size is 200×300mm; other sizes from 150×200mm to 600×900mm.
