This large board is headed SWIMMING POOL RULES and lists the standard clauses: no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk, no diving, children under 12 must be accompanied, proper swimwear only, no food, drinks or glass, and opening hours 7.00 am to 10.00 pm. The Bahasa Malaysia text is headed PERATURAN KOLAM RENANG, and a Chinese version (泳池规则) is available on its own or with BM and English. It is the main house-rules notice at the pool gate of condominiums, apartments, serviced residences, hotels, resorts and private clubs throughout Malaysia. Joint management bodies use it to put their Strata Management Act 2013 by-laws on display where residents can see them. Default size is 600×900mm so the full list reads from a distance; smaller sizes down to 150×200mm are available.
