This green sign reads SAVE WATER, CLOSE TAP TIGHTLY in English and JIMATKAN AIR, TUTUP PAIP DENGAN RAPAT in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (节约用水) available alone or combined with BM and English. It is fixed above basins and taps in school and university toilets, mosque and surau ablution areas, office and factory washrooms, hostels and workers' quarters, hotel bathrooms and condominium common toilets across Malaysia. Building managers use it to cut water bills and to stop dripping taps being left by the last user. It pairs well with our Switch Off Lights & Air-Cond sign for a simple energy and water saving set. Default size is 150×200mm for a basin splashback; other sizes up to 600×900mm are available. PVC foam board 5mm is rigid and wipes clean in a wet area, PP hollow board is the budget option, and Tandaku Colourfit EG steel sheet 0.5mm is the long-life choice for an outdoor ablution area or wash bay.
