About this sign
The sign reads PLEASE USE THE INTERCOM in English and SILA GUNA INTERKOM in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (请使用对讲机) available. An intercom pictogram shows visitors what to look for.
It is placed beside the intercom panel at condo and apartment lobbies, gated and guarded housing, office front doors after hours, clinics and dental surgeries, warehouses and factory gates, hostels, tuition centres and homestays across Malaysia, so couriers and guests call instead of knocking or shouting.
