A crossed-out door-and-arrow pictogram makes the message clear at a glance. Retail shops and supermarkets, offices, clinics, banks, car parks, exhibition halls, cinemas, schools and event venues across Malaysia fix it on staff-only doors, delivery doors, dead-end corridors and one-way entry doors so customers head for the proper exit or checkout. It is not a fire exit sign: emergency escape routes carry the green running-man sign required by Bomba and the UBBL, and this notice is for everyday circulation only.
