About this sign
This blue sign carries the wheelchair symbol with ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE in English and LALUAN OKU in Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese version (无障碍通道) available on its own or with BM and English.
It marks the ramp or step-free door at shopping malls, banks, clinics and hospitals, government offices, schools, mosques and churches, hotels, restaurants and condominiums across Malaysia, and is used as a directional sign when the accessible entrance is round the side of the building. New and renovated buildings are expected to provide OKU access, and a clearly marked entrance is the simplest way to show where it is.
Default size is 150×200mm for a door or wall plate, with larger sizes up to 600×900mm for a directional board with an arrow.
