It identifies the nurses' counter in a GP clinic, a hospital ward, a maternity centre, a dialysis centre, a nursing home or an elderly care facility in Malaysia, so patients and families know where to ask. A clearly marked nurse station is part of the basic signage private healthcare and care facilities are expected to have.
