Choose a custom lucky spin wheel, compare both stands, check courier sizes and learn to fit the insert nuts with real installation photos and video.

Lucky Spin Wheel Malaysia: Sizes, Stands and Installation

Key takeaways

  • Choose a complete 10mm PVC foamboard wheel and stand, a stand only, or a replacement wheel.
  • Both stand models are available from 60 × 60cm to 120 × 120cm; only 60 × 60cm and 70 × 70cm orders can go by courier.
  • Press the insert nut teeth into the board before turning the Allen key to lock it.

A custom lucky spin wheel gives visitors a simple activity at a shop promotion, roadshow or event booth: spin the wheel and read the prize at the pointer. Before ordering, decide whether you need the whole set, a stand, or a replacement printed wheel. Then choose a size you can transport and the arrow position that suits your design.

This guide covers Tandaku's 10mm PVC foamboard wheels, the two stand models, delivery sizes and assembly. You can configure all three order options on the Lucky Spin wheel and stand page. The installation photos and videos below show the actual hardware; the printed prize designs are examples.

Which lucky spin wheel set should you order?

Choose the complete wheel and stand if you are starting from scratch. Choose a separate component when you already have compatible hardware and only need to replace one part.

Order option What you receive What to check
10mm PVC Foamboard Wheel + Stand A printed wheel with your selected stand Wheel size and Standard or Premium arrow position
Wheel Stand Only The selected stand, without a printed board The size and mounting arrangement of your existing wheel
10mm PVC Foamboard Wheel Only A replacement printed wheel, without a stand Bottom-arrow or centre-arrow fitting to match your stand

A replacement wheel is useful when a promotion changes but the existing stand can still be used. For example, a shop might replace a wheel carrying opening offers with one carrying a different set of prizes. Check the mounting arrangement before ordering, particularly if the stand came from another supplier. Send photos and measurements for a compatibility check rather than assuming every wheel fits every stand.

Standard bottom arrow or Premium centre arrow?

The main difference is where the pointer attaches. Both stand models are available with all seven listed wheel sizes. Choosing a larger wheel does not automatically select the Premium stand.

Feature Standard stand Premium stand
Pointer position Below the wheel, pointing upward At the centre of the wheel
Installation Insert the pointer into the bottom holder Fit the arrow in the middle and secure the centre fitting
Arrow arrangement Fixed bottom pointer Adjustable centre arrow
Artwork consideration Place prize labels so they are readable at the bottom pointer Leave room around the centre mounting and arrow

Choose the stand before finalising the artwork. A logo or instruction placed directly under a fitting can be covered once the wheel is assembled. The physical mounting area needs space even when the design looks balanced on screen.

If you already own a Tandaku stand, match its arrow position when buying a replacement wheel. “Premium” is a stand choice, not a different printed board material: both printed-wheel options use 10mm PVC foamboard.

Which wheel sizes can be sent by courier?

60 × 60cm and 70 × 70cm orders can go by courier. Every larger listed size needs self pickup or Lalamove. Delivery charges are separate and appear at checkout.

Selected wheel size Delivery options
60 × 60cm Courier, self pickup or Lalamove
70 × 70cm Courier, self pickup or Lalamove
80 × 80cm Self pickup or Lalamove
90 × 90cm Self pickup or Lalamove
100 × 100cm Self pickup or Lalamove
110 × 110cm Self pickup or Lalamove
120 × 120cm Self pickup or Lalamove

The order page labels each wheel by its square width and height. Select the matching dimensions when preparing the design. For a stand-only order, the size field records the wheel you plan to fit; it does not add a printed board.

Before choosing a large wheel, measure the setup area and plan the journey to the venue. Allow room for the open tripod, the person spinning the wheel and people waiting their turn. Confirm that the packed board can be loaded into your collection vehicle or the Lalamove vehicle you arrange.

How is the price calculated?

The printed 10mm PVC foamboard wheel is priced by size. A complete set adds your selected stand; a replacement wheel excludes the stand. Stand-only pricing is shown separately. Optional design help and delivery are additional selections, so compare the same configuration when planning your event budget.

Use the live Lucky Spin price calculator to choose the wheel size, stand and quantity. Check the order summary before adding it to your cart. This avoids mistaking a stand-only starting price for the price of a complete printed set.

The ready date shown is the production estimate for your selection. Payment and artwork approval come first, and delivery takes additional time. If you have an event deadline, allow time to receive the package, assemble the display and check the result before guests arrive.

How should you prepare the wheel artwork?

Start with the selected wheel size, your stand's arrow position and a final list of prize wording. Keep each segment easy to read: a short prize name is more practical than a paragraph of conditions wrapped around a small wedge.

  • Use clear contrast between prize labels and their backgrounds.
  • Keep logos, prize names and other important details clear of the mounting area and outer cut edge.
  • Check how the centre arrow will sit over the design if you choose Premium.
  • Confirm spelling, prize quantities and redemption wording before approving the file.
  • Put longer participation instructions on a separate display where visitors can read them while waiting.

A roll-up banner can carry the promotion instructions beside the wheel. For a wider event setup, the event banner planning guide covers entrance signs and directions. Keep those signs consistent with the wording on the wheel so visitors do not receive conflicting instructions.

Upload your artwork on the product page, choose “Send it later”, or select “Design for me” at the displayed extra fee. If you are unsure where the fitting will sit, ask for that placement to be checked before approval. The RGB and CMYK printing guide explains why printed colours can differ from a glowing screen.

How to install the lucky spin wheel

Assemble the wheel on a level surface and follow the guide for your stand model. The sequence is: fit the insert nuts, mount the wheel, install the arrow, then check the display.

1. Make the nut teeth bite before turning

Place the supplied insert nuts in the prepared holes at the back of the board. Press each insert nut down so its teeth bite into the board first. Only after the teeth grip should you turn the Allen key to lock it in place. Do not begin by turning a nut that is still sitting loosely on the surface.

2. Mount the board onto the spinner

Open the tripod on a level floor. Mount the printed board onto the spinner, secure the rear fitting, then set and lock the stand height. Check that the board is attached securely before fitting the pointer or attempting a spin.

3. Fit the correct arrow

For the Standard bottom-arrow stand, insert the red pointer into its holder below the wheel, pointing upward. For the Premium centre-arrow stand, fit the red arrow at the centre of the wheel and secure the centre fitting. Use the matching illustrated guide on the product page if you need to compare the two positions.

4. Check the display before use

Give the wheel a gentle test spin. Check that it turns freely, the arrow is secured and the tripod stays stable. If anything is loose or catches, stop and check the assembly before inviting visitors to use it.

Watch the full Lucky Spin installation video with English subtitles for the complete sequence and both arrow positions. Keep the guide available during setup so whoever is installing the display can follow the same steps.

Frequently asked questions

Is a lucky spin wheel the same as a prize wheel or roda bertuah?

These names commonly describe the same type of spinning event display. For this product, the choices that affect your order are the printed wheel size, whether a stand is included, and the arrow position.

Does a stand-only order include my printed design?

No. Wheel Stand Only includes the selected stand without a board. Select Wheel + Stand when you need a printed wheel and its stand together.

Can I reuse the stand for a different promotion?

Yes, with a compatible replacement wheel. Choose Wheel Only and match the arrow fitting to your existing stand. Check mounting compatibility before ordering a replacement for hardware from another supplier.

Can an 80 × 80cm wheel go by courier?

No. Courier is available for 60 × 60cm and 70 × 70cm orders. Choose self pickup or Lalamove for 80 × 80cm and all larger listed sizes.

What is the most important part of fitting the insert nuts?

The teeth must bite into the board before you start turning the Allen key. Press the nut into position first, then turn to lock it once the teeth grip. The close-up video above shows this step.

Order your lucky spin wheel

Choose your order option, wheel size and arrow position on the Lucky Spin Stand order page. Check the live total and ready date, then select how you will provide the artwork. For 80 × 80cm and larger wheels, arrange self pickup or Lalamove as part of your event plan.
